de Economia e Gestão da Universidade do Minho, às 11h00.
BIOGRAFIA | PROFESSOR BERTRAND BADIE
Bertrand Badie (1950) é um cientista político francês especialista em relações internacionais e Professor na Sciences Po. Badie é um dos mais reconhecidos especialistas franceses na área de relações internacionais.
O seu volumoso trabalho foi publicado em francês e
traduzido para outras línguas, incluindo as suas obras “The Sociology of the
State”, Chicago, em co-autoria com Pierre Birnbaum; “The Imported State”,
Stanford; “The Diplomacy of Connivance”, Palgrave; “Humiliation in
International Relations”, Hart-Bloomsbury; “Political Science. A Global Perspective”,
Sage, com D. Berg-Schlosser e L. Morlino, e “International Encyclopedia
of Political Science”, como co-editor, Sage. Badie foi vice-presidente da International Political Science Association.

On October 27th, the University of Minho presents the Seminar «Talking with Bertrand Badie: A School of Thought in International Relations» with Professor Bertrand Badie (Professor from Sciences Po, Paris), moderated by Professor Sandra Fernandes (University of Minho). This event is organized by the Research Center in Political Science (CICP).
The Seminar will take place at the Auditorium 0.03 (1.01) of the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, at 11 am.
BIOGRAPHY | PROFESSOR BERTRAND BADIE
Bertrand Badie (1950) is a French political scientist and international relations specialist, professor at Sciences Po. He is one of the most renowned French specialists in international relations.
His voluminous work has been published in French and translated in other languages, including The Sociology of the State, Chicago, with Pierre Birnbaum; The Imported State, Stanford; The Diplomacy of Connivance, Palgrave; Humiliation in International Relations, Hart-Bloomsbury; Political Science. A Global Perspective, Sage with D. Berg-Schlosser and L. Morlino, and International Encyclopedia of Political Science, co-editor, Sage. He is former Vice-President of the International Political Science Association.
